How the Audius DJ Ability Works

Below is a quick walkthrough (captured in the video above) showing exactly how to activate the Ability and drop your first track in under 60 seconds.

1. Log in to OpenHome

  • What you do: Visit openhome.com, create or sign into your account.

  • What happens: You’ll arrive at the Marketplace dashboard.

2. Find the Ability

  • What you do: Scroll to Abilities → search “Audius DJ” (or just type “DJ”).

  • What happens: The Audius DJ Ability card appears.

3. Install

  • What you do: Click Add / Install.

  • What happens: The Ability moves to Installed Abilities in the left-hand menu.

4. Check trigger words

  • What you do: Open Installed Abilities → Audius DJ. Note the default trigger: “Can you play me a song?”

  • What happens: These are the phrases any voice personality will listen for.

5. Pick a personality

  • What you do: Start a chat with Audius DJ (featured) or any other AI you’ve built.

  • What happens: The personality greets you and waits for a request.

6. Request a track

  • What you do: Say or type the song name: (example) “Burn Notice.”

  • What happens: The Ability queries Audius, finds the track, and starts playback—instantly.

That’s all there is to it. No OAuth keys, no playlist IDs—just name the vibe or exact title and let the AI DJ spin.
