Privacy Policy for AI Twin by OpenHome

1. Introduction
OpenHome Technologies Inc (“OpenHome,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide through the AI Twin by OpenHome mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you access or use the App. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect certain categories of information in connection with your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, account information such as your name, email address, and age if you elect to create an account using email, Google, or Apple authentication. You may use the App without creating an account; however, saving or managing your AI Twin may require registration.
We may collect voice recordings and audio inputs submitted through the App for the purpose of generating your AI Twin. We may also collect optional profile details that you choose to submit in order to enhance the personalization of your AI Twin, including background, lifestyle, and personality information.
Additionally, we collect technical data from your device, which may include your IP address, operating system, device model, and other identifiers. We may also collect logs of your interactions with the AI Twin, including text and audio-based conversations, which are used solely to improve the performance and functionality of the App.
3. Use of Information
The information collected through the App is used for the following purposes: to operate and maintain the App’s core features; to generate, customize, and enhance your AI Twin; to communicate with you about updates, features, and support; to detect and prevent misuse or abuse of the App; and to analyze user behavior in order to improve the performance and quality of our AI systems. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their independent marketing or advertising use.
4. Voice and AI Technology
Voice recordings and user inputs are stored and processed to enable and support the App’s primary features, including AI generation and voice playback. We may rely on third-party service providers, including but not limited to OpenAI, ElevenLabs, and Deepgram, to perform these functions. These providers process user data solely for the purpose of delivering their services to OpenHome.
5. Analytics and Marketing
We may implement analytics and attribution tools in the App, such as mobile measurement platforms, in order to better understand user engagement and improve the App experience. These tools may be added at a future date. We may also use your email address to contact you periodically with product updates, promotional offers, or other relevant information. You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by following the instructions provided in such communications.
6. Data Sharing and Retention
OpenHome does not sell or otherwise distribute your personal data, including your AI Twin, voice clone, or associated content, to third parties. All content you generate or provide through the App remains private unless you actively choose to share it. We retain collected data indefinitely in order to support ongoing user access, personalization, and product development.
7. User Controls
You may delete your account or request the deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at legal@openhome.xyz. You may also choose which information to provide during your use of the App, though some features may require certain inputs. At this time, we do not offer user-level opt-out controls for analytics or AI personalization; however, we may introduce such controls in future versions of the App.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of thirteen (13). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. We request age verification at the time of account creation and restrict access to the App if a user is identified as underage.
9. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. While we strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time, in our sole discretion. In the event of a material change, we may notify you via email, push notification, or through an in-app message. Your continued use of the App after such modifications have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
